Trip to Provo

So Dot and Jonathan (my younger sister and her husband) graduated from BYU last weekend. My older sister and her girls, as well as my mother were all coming for the Graduation, so we decided we couldn't be left out of all the fun!!! Uncle Johnny was the old male there (except my two little guys), but it was fun to just do be just us girls and do the things we love to do together. We did miss the babysitting that the dads usually help provide so that we can do all the usual "Mann girl stuff," but we had so much fun. The kids were wonderful in the car, both ways!!! I didn't have to stop once because of poor behavior or screaming! My kids are the best!!!!

I didn't realize just how much I missed being with my family until I was there just reveling in their company. I took my camera to take pictures of everyone, but I never got it out. Aunt Cassy always had her's out, and her camera is way better than mine anyway. I'll get some photos from her and then post them. I can't wait until I can be closer to my family and see them more often! I miss you all so much!

Lil' Foot soccer Practice

James has been asking to go to school for almost a year now...and he's only 31/2. Since he's not going to go to school for a couple more years (due to his late birthday) I decided that we should compromise. So we enrolled him in what he calls "soccer school." He's on the lil' foot soccer league for 3-4 year-olds. If you thought 5 year-olds just clumpped and chased the ball, well you should see this! James is super proud that he gets to be in soccer school. Last night he had his first scrimmage match with his team. I think something finally clicked and he started chasing the ball. He took it away from the other team 2 times, and shot a goal once too! He is still struggling with the "good sport" concept of not crying went he other team scores a goal and he doesn't...but that's kind of the whole point of putting kids that age into sports anyway, is to help them learn about following rules and being a good sport! His first game is on Saturday, and we can't wait to see how he does, and how long all the kids last...

Here's some pictures from soccer practice
Ben likes soccer practice just about as much as James does!

Growing UP

Check out James' newest trick. He has become the biggest sneak...some might say he got that from me. When I was really little I would beg borrow and steal to get my hands on something sweet. James is turning out to be quite the rival in trying to sneak toys, candies, and anything else he wants that Mommy has placed out of reach...it won't be long and I won't be able to keep him away from anything anymore.

Playing ball with Daddy

Ben Loves to play with His Daddy, and this was a special moment I managed to capture without James taking the spotlight. Ben's such a sweet little boy!

Crazy James

I have these fussy socks that I wear when I am cold, well, James has gotten it into his head that he needs fuzzy socks too, so he started wearing mine. Here is his best attempt at a super hero's costume...atleast that's what I see when I look at these photos! Won't he love it when I use these photos of him for high school or his wedding video- he sure is all HAM!
