Memories

So the primary in our ward is doing a "primary teacher appreciation dinner." Since Sean and I are both in the Primary, we get to go. They want to do a program for us and asked if they could get a baby picture of each of the teachers. Well, a baby picture of me was easy, I have most of my baby pictures, at least all the good ones from similar kind of requests in the past. Sean, on the other hand was a little trickier. I got out my box of pictures waiting to be scrapbooked, or at least put into photo albums and I dug through that box for quite a while hoping that I would find at least one photo of my husband as a child. I was successful. At the very bottom of the box I pulled out two pictures of Sean when he was about 2ish. I couldn't believe that I actually found them, even though finding lost items has become one of my talents since I have had kids...

Anyway, while digging through miscellaneous pictures I found all my pictures from college! I have ones from BYU-Idaho and my very first roommates ever, and some from my goofy roommates when I first went to BYU, but the majority of the pictures came from my last group of roommates-Kelli, Annette, and Julia. So I think that since I was the last one of us to get married, I inherited all of our pictures. So I have decided that maybe that wasn't quite fair, so I am currently trying to get those pictures scanned so that I can post them and send copies to you three girls! If you guys don't have copies of those pictures you need them. I sat and laughed out loud remembering all the things we did together. It seems impossible to me that we ever got any homework done with all the goofy things we did all the time.

You guys know that when I moved into that apartment I was about to go through one of my hardest trials. Even though Joey had already called off the wedding and I had accepted that, it wasn't until after being there with all of you that I realized that he was no longer going to be any part of my life...I know the Lord knew I was going to need the sincere love and friendship that I found with you guys, along with the silly games, and jokes that we made all the time. When I think of what "college life" should be like, I think we found it in the brick walls of windgate -and stonebridge. Thanks for pulling me through all that with a smile on my face and warm memories that can brighten any day! I sure do love and miss you guys!

I really have lived such a blessed and full life, and it just keeps getting better! Thanks to all of you out there who have left your fingerprints in my life and heart to make myself and my life what it is today--good and bad!

New family portraits

So Granny Franny and Grandpa Red came to visit and we loved every minute of it. Just about every time we left the house James and Ben got a new toy, a treat, or somthing to spoil the grandkids. James loved sitting on Ganny's lap and helping her play her Farmville game on the computer. Ben couldn't get enough of Grandpa.

While they were here we decided to get new pictures to replace the ones we took a little over a year ago. Ben was only a cubby little 6 month old in those pictures and we needed one with his toothy grin that he does. They turned out really good, I hope you enjoy.

Break Dancing

Alright Dot, here's your video. Yes, I said break dancing. I don't know where he picked this up, but one day James just started doing this. Now it seems this is the only kind of dancing we can get him to do, especially when he listens to his favorite music, Micheal Jackson...I can't believe Sean has taught his boys to be as big M.J. fans as he is. Enjoy the video.

Pictures of Benji

In a rare moment I managed to get some pictures of Ben without James pushing his face in the camera. I also got Ben sitting still enough that he's not blurry in these!!! He's a cutie pie. Next time I'll work on getting some great pics of just James.

How Benji Eats a Tootsie Roll Pop...

I wish I had gotten a better and longer clip of this, but this is what I got. So James went potty this morning and picked a sucker for his treat. When Ben decided he needed a treat too, James traded the sucker to Ben for a piece of choclate. As I was watching him eat the sucker I had to laugh as he rapidly liked the sucker. I hope you enjoy!

My little climbing monkeys

This has become James and Ben's favorite game...most of the time Mommy and Daddy enjoy watching too. They sure do have a lot of energy, if only I could tap into that!
