My rambunctious kids

This morning James and Ben had some extra energy to burn off, so they decided to be mountain climbers, the only problem was that they needed a suitable mountain. They found that in our couch. James has been doing this alot lately, he climbs up and dives off. I thought I would share with all of you. My boys are definately active little boys!

Silly Videos of Dad

The other day Daddy and I were playing Wii fit together. Normally Sean holds all the high scores for all of our video games, but not this time. Sean tried the hoola hoop game and this is the result. The great thing about this is that I could stand behind him and record without him doing anything to stop me. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did!!! It's pretty funny!

Ben's learning to groove!

For some reason capturing the best dance moves on camera is next to impossible. I can't tell you all the great things I've seen and wished I could get the camera out fast enough to actually catch it. The other day James was actually attempting to break dance on the the floor. Complete with Jumping spins and rolling on the floor. It was so cute, but I couldn't quite get him to repeat it for me so that I could film it and post it...but I did get a pretty cute one of Ben. I have also seem him do some "groovier"moves before, but once again this is what I got on camera, so this is what you get. We sure do like to dance in this family!! I only wish we got to dance more often.

Happy Halloween

Now that Thanksgiving has come and gone, I'm posting the pictures from Halloween. I apologize that some of them are a little blurry, but you can't always control everything. About a week before Halloween we attended a ward party...Sean couldn't come with us, but the kids enjoyed themselves too. The worst thing about it was that for every day for the next week all James could ask was when we were going to put our costumes back on. He still asks if we are going to go trick or treating again soon. A whole year seems so far away to a little 3 year old.

James decided that we should all go dressed up alike. Ben was dressed in James' Tigger costume from last year, but we called him our lost boy!

James of course was Peter Pan...what a cute little Peter Pan he was. I tried to convince him to try about a dozen different costumes because Peter Pan costumes aren't easy to find. But no form of persuasion would work, so we found one online and bought it.

James also picked out my costume...in case you can't tell, I got to be Tinkerbell. I felt like I put the costume together quite well with a simple dress from D.I. that I cut to make look like a "Tink" dress. Then I added some fairy wings and glued little pom-poms on to my slip on shoes.

Luckily for us Daddy could come along with us the following weekend when we went "Trick-or-Treating." As if you couldn't figure it with the whole theme and everything, but Daddy got to be Captain Hook. He really does make a very good Captain!! It was so much fun! Once Ben figured out that people were putting candy into his bag, he wouldn't let anyone take it, or hold it for him for the rest of the night. James kept running up the the door and yelling "Happy Halloween" and then he'd say "trick or treat." We spent about a hour and a half going door to door. Then we took some Halloween treats to some friends in the ward...it was fun to show off our fancy costumes. It was a fun evening, and we can't wait for next year to come around again!
